Terms of Service

These terms cover this website and Price Tag Pete Studio (the "Tool"), a desktop posting tool operated by the Price Tag Pete project ("we", "us"). By using the website or the Tool you agree to these terms.
1. What the Tool is
The Tool lets an authorized user connect a TikTok account through TikTok's official Login Kit and upload video files they choose to that account through TikTok's official Content Posting API, either as a post or as a draft in the TikTok inbox. The Tool is currently used only for the Price Tag Pete project's own TikTok account and is not offered to the general public.
2. Your content and responsibilities
- You must only upload content you own or have the rights to post.
- You are responsible for your captions, the privacy setting you choose, the interaction settings you choose and any commercial content disclosure.
- Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and, where relevant, its Music Usage Confirmation and Branded Content Policy.
- You must not use the Tool to spam, to post content copied from others, or to get around any TikTok limit or rule.
3. What we do and don't do
- We only send a video to TikTok after you click Post.
- We do not add watermarks, logos, links or promotional text to your content.
- We do not change your TikTok account settings.
- We handle TikTok data as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Disconnecting
You can disconnect the Tool at any time with its Disconnect button, which revokes its access token with TikTok and deletes the stored tokens, or by removing the app's access in TikTok's settings.
5. No warranty
The website and Tool are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. TikTok may change, limit or stop its APIs at any time, and posts are subject to TikTok's processing and moderation. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Tool.
6. Third parties
Price Tag Pete is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. "TikTok" is a trademark of its owner.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do.
